Shaun Byrne has signed a new contract at Livingston FC.
Livingston FC social media teased the announcement for 12 noon Friday.
Falkirk had joined Dundee United in the chase for Livingston ace Byrne.
English clubs are also eyeing the 24-year-old midfielder after Livi’s play-off final victory.
It was thought Livi might announce a new manager on Friday but the statement concerned the player.
And it was good news for fans of the new Premiership club as Byrne remains at Almondvale.
