Edinburgh City And Brora Set To Clash Again For League Place

Edinburgh City [ Lowland League ] and Brora Rangers [ Highland League ] are set to clash again at the end of the season for the right to take on the bottom club in SPFL League Two for status as one of Scotland’s 42 SPFL clubs.

Last season saw the first Pyramid Play Off of its kind north of the border and City and Brora clashed with the Highland Rangers winning over two legs for the right to play bottom club last term Montrose for a League Two berth.

Montrose preserved their SPFL status with an aggregate win but only a minor miracle can stop both non-league sides winning their respective divisions in 2015/16 with Berwick Rangers and East Stirlingshire currently the likely candidates to play the winner of City v Brora this term.

City are only a few matches from winning the Lowland League while only Aberdeen side Cove Rangers have a realistic chance of catching Brora in the Highlands.
